1930’s Californian bungalow had to renovated to create more spacious and cozy living spaces, but demolish all existing house is too bad because the owner love the front house detailing architecture and its historical value. So the solution is create hybrid concept of architecture, the Californian bungalow major renovation and extension concept is to blend existing Californian bungalow structure and modern architecture without any contrast. From front house seem there is no conversion, but the historic architecture structure gradually changed with contemporary visual to the backyard, finally evolved into a different building. The interior house design of this Californian bungalow has detailing elements mimic the original character, but created in more modern way.
