The parterres of the garden have also helped to allay the impression of the public highway traversing the lower part of the plot. This house, designed for a builder and his wife, reflects the self-consciousness of a couple who do not balk at letting their personality be expressed in their building. Like the two individuals for whom the house is built, the two volumes look out to sea, one of them a little more prudently over the other one’s shoulder. The pale concrete frame is followed through in a pale-stained, room-length solid Oregon pine for the flooring and fittings. The glass wall crossing the edge of the roof beams creates a seamless contact between building and terrace. This ends in a black concrete pool, the water of which is constantly flowing over the edge, becoming part of the building’s façade.

Shell Villa is ultra modern homes designed by japanese ARTechnic architects, location in Nagano, Japan. A large shell shaped structure finds itself in the middle of the woods. It is hard to determine what exactly the structure is, and unlike the surrounding caves and rocks, it clearly is not a part of nature green house – nor is it a ruin. With this, the house will be taken care of and used frequently and continuously. Specifically in cases of villas, frequent use is what leads it to blend in with its surroundings. The regions’ low temperatures and high humidity level makes for a harsh climate. As a result, many houses that take on traditional structures are decaying. Is it in sync with nature? Perhaps. But the whole idea of comfort seems to be put into question. Consequently, large numbers of villas have not been in use for many years bringing them down to further dilapidation. Despite the general avoidance of concrete material in the region, its usage and the lifting structure have helped the villa protect itself from the humidity. Every unit of house consists of three floors in modern contemporary style. Front of house stick out aperture in geometry form so unified outer room and landscape with inside room. That façade “framed” by brown wall and green balcony accent, also metal partition formed in horizontal lines. Lamp shape with indirect lighting technique accommodated with interior design in every room. For example, lamp in circle shape an upper floor lobby which does not bright assures lobby area as distribution center several corridors to various directions. At waiting room, lamp designed as horizontal series at plafond and transparent panels that have diffusion effect given so do not make dazzled. Another accent is there are blue cool light lamps as decorative lamp at wall outside building.

In order to get fresh air and natural light in maximal to every corner of the house, architect designed aperture that is slit opening void at plafond meeting above dining room with back wall in form of wide transparent glass. Slit opening also seeing at up floor, balanced with wooden lath formation at up floor plafond. Stairs area designed as void 2 floor with glass film railing. Partly of windows framed with teak wood, others with white aluminum, so seem attractive. At up floor, designed home theater room. Beside sophisticated audio equipment, this room designed with one wall from glass and intentional incline created and perfect with stairs railing. To create comfortable and elegant interior atmosphere, there are simple minimalist furniture. Every room designed with different themes, for example, guest room dominated with gray colors at partition wall, and table, also broken white on wall and chairs leather cover, Barcelona Chair, created by Mies Van der Rohe. But for the guest, it directed to left side to upper level through stepped path from black stones. In this area, there are casuarinas trees. Before in guest room, we greeted with minimalist garden with fresh grass, make our eye fresh. From unique decorative door in geometrical form, seem guest room which divided into two parts of area. First area is connecting area, consist of sofas and tables. After that, there is wider area for guest that intimate with owner. At upper level, there is family room, consist of modern furniture and big TV. Wall of family room made from big glass so light can be in. Working room is beside family room. Main bedroom and dining room placed on upper spilt. The dining room unified with pantry, complement with island. That room connected with side terrace. From here we can see direct view to pool. Room arrangement at building with 750 m2 width and built on 440 m2 of land, ordered in such a manner easily traffic circulation of owners from services room in base floor to private rooms. In this building design, architect concern on air circulation fluency and lighting. That manner supported with 3 meter until 5 meters high of plafond, and also wide aperture, those are glass window. Natural materials applied, like Yogya stones at wall and timber wood board at childstairs.
